Nurturing Community Leaders

Committed to nurture leaders

We believe that nurturing leaders is the best way to have a long term sustainable impact on society.

• Do you remember someone who inspired you to find the answer for yourself?
• Someone who made you discover something amazing about yourself?
• Someone who challenged you to think different?

How do we nurture leaders at Seeducation?

I was reading about a guy who is known for being world's best basketball player, his name is Michael Jordan - and who hasn't heard about him?! Michael Jordan has a coach. Can his coach play basketball better than him? No.

But he still has a coach. The world's best football player has a coach. The world's best piano player has a coach. Even Jack Welch, arguably the best CEO of the 20th century, has a coach: Warren Buffet.

If Michael Jordan and Jack Welch both have a coach, why do you think you don't need one?

I believe that this is because there is a misunderstanding about what coaching is. The aim of coaching is to help someone find answers by themselves. Everyone needs ones in a while external perspective and to reflect. The coach is there to ask questions, and help you in the thinking process. Coaching is one of the ways we support you.

But I don't have any problems, why would I need help?

if you are already doing well, getting the support is a fantastic way to keep the momentum and make the most of the good moments of your life.

At Seeducation, we use a wide varieties of methods to support leaders. They include coaching, mentoring, faciliation, voice dialogue and other derived methods through arts, sports and simulations.

We have all had a "coach" or "mentor" in our life, and I can remember so many people who have inspired me and given me directions. Without these people I would never be where I am now, and I am so thankful to them. There is no shame and only pride in having fantastic people supporting you.

Coaching rising stars

Noam from the Seeducation team has a long experience doing this, and supports many rising stars who could not afford to pay for the professional service. This is because we believe that it is our duty to support people who are willing to take the risk of failing, the risk of dissapointing others: it is a difficult challenge, and we want to encourrage people to do it.

Noam, our Managing Director, has recently been supporting two rising stars from AIESEC, the world's largest student organisation, in which Noam started his international leadership journey.

At Seeducation, we provide a lot different opportunities to support you and/or your organisation to grow and shine. Whether you are ridding the wave or at the bottom of the pit, it is just a question of time before the wheel turns. Contact us to talk about giving you and/or your organisation support in forms of coach, training, consulting, mentoring, facilitation and more.

What do they have to say?

Malgorzata invited me to coach her Executive Board over the summer 2009. I met an emerging leader without much experienced of being followed. She is full of passion, care and enthusiasm. Shes wants to do the best and believes her role as President is not to control but to inspire. She has a talent for empowering other, and wonders how to make the most of it for good leadership.

AIESEC
Mohammed is the President of AIESEC City and has first seeked for Noam's support to deliver a Speed Mentoring programme. Since then, the relation has grown and they have a much closer contact. Mohammed now receives support in his leadership challenge of bringing an organisation in a difficult situation into sustainability and growth.

How to get involved?

If you are a trainer, coach or give any other form of personal and/or organisational support, please get in touch with us and learn how you can contribute to the Seeducation network. Check our get involved page and fill in the form.

As Seeducation, the charity, we give free support to people who would not normally be able to afford it. Our number one criteria is that these people are working towards making the world a better place, and we give them free support because they are trying to have a positive social impact.

To be able to extend this kind of support to these rising stars, more funds will buy us time and resources. By making a donation, you are helping an emerging leader get the support needed to create social change.
